Recall that "The Makeup" was released on YouTube last weekend, the reactions shared by the Producer and Director on his Whatsapp story and the YouTube channel reveals that approximately ninety percent of the viewers had their emotions triggered after watching the film.
The story leaves its viewers with a bitter sweet experience starting as a beautiful Romantic Drama, showing an overly caring Man who had his sister in law wishing for a husband like him. Little did we know that we are set for a journey we didn't bargain for. The Writer who doubles as the Producer and Director left no stone unturned as the story progressed smoothly with beautiful transition and matching sound scores. The Production Design makes the story even more relatable as it shows both relaxed and tensed in cases where need be. The Actors did the most as their emotions left the viewers with nothing left to imagine.
Often criticized for his show of skin in his films, the Director shows why he's the best with tweaking emotions with most viewers expecting a tale of romance but ended up with white tissue to mop up their emotions from the last few scenes.
The Film has gathered over two thousand views as at press time and more viewers are expected to see it over the next few weeks.
Here are some of the reviews from independent viewers as obtained from the YouTube comments and private Whatsapp messages shared by the Producer and Director.
