Interview: Star Focus: Promise Binang Eyare

We had a sit out with one of Magic Makers most "Promising Actors" in Promise Binang Eyare. Here is an excerpt onto our conversation with her.

Eyare as she's fondly called by her colleagues is known by her dexterity, soft nature and wholesomeness. Aside Acting, she's also a Youtuber (Eyare's Diary) and an Entrepreneur (Eyare's Apparel) Tell us your name and a little about you. My name is Promise Binang Eyare,From Cross River State,Boki LGA. I am a student with the National Open university studying Criminology and Security studies,although I have a professional Certificate with The Universal School Of Aviation where I studied Airline Ticketing and reservations,Tourism Management and Cabin Crew,amidst other professional certificate Why Acting? Acting is a passion. For me it's been an escape for as long as I can remember. Like reading a book takes you to another world, acting does the same for me. For a few hours I can be someone I'm not, I can be someone who is perfect or is terribly broken or just grey, and inbetween. Acting has saved my life more times than I can count and gave me something to live for till I could find something else. Sure, an added bonus is that I get payed, depending on what I'm doing but I would act regardless. Acting has always been a huge part of my life and quite honestly I don't think I could live without it. How did you become a Magic Makers Actor and how does it feel like to be one? I became a Magic Makers actor because of its vision…two years ago, I was called for a job,through referral (Crackheads) I was skeptical if I should go or not because I wasn’t too sound in health,but I just concluded instead of staying at home,I should go do my thing,so i went on set,getting there,I met lots of faces I wasn’t familiar with,then I met the founder of Magic Makers Cinema,he was so welcoming and entertaining,Lol,I met a wonderful crew members,other Magic Makers Actors,we bonded immediately,set was so fun that I actually forgot I came for a job,it was so satisfying,so yeah,I feel blessed and honored to be a Magic Makers Actress. You have done a couple of titles with The Magic Makers, which one is your favorite? Clean Money

Your new movie is much talked about, how does that make you feel? Makes me feel like a super star that I am…I feel fulfilled,I feel I am getting there,I am happy because this is a film that is relatable,And I feel more happier that I was give the role to act From the look of things, your new film seem an emotional one, how did you handle that on set? Honestly it was a tough one putting myself into that character knowing that there are women out there going through this kind of emotional abuse in their relationships,it heartbreaking. What was your favorite moment on the set? I can’t say,because every moment was beautiful

Would you marry your co-star in the film if fate leaves it to you? Tell us why.

Ehmmm (Clears throat) Maybe yes,because he is actually charming.Lol,My co star made things really easy for me,he had this sort of care and respect thing that I really fancy,so yeah,maybe The Makeup is written and Directed by One Man that is much talked about, what can you say about him and how does it feel working with him?

All I can say is Mr Femi (Jagaban) is a film lord!!! Working with him is always stress free,he has a way of getting you into character and also getting the character out of you,he knows his craft well, and I am extremely proud to be learning from one of the best in the game. Where do you see yourself and Magic Makers five years from now? I see myself as an A actor,I see magic makers recruiting more talents,filming back to back,visiting countries to make beautiful films,I see us all doing so well that people will wonder in Awe!!! If there is a character you would love to play in a movie, what would the character be and why? I would love to play a character of a rich lady,disguised like a village illiterate looking for true love and then horror I really want to see myself in those characters,something different What are you expecting your fans to feel after watching "The Makeup"

Ans: I am expecting them to be educated,to be informed about how people like this behave,to be entertained….You know what? Let my fans watch the movie and let the film naturally gets inside of them,now that’s true feelings Tell us something we don't know about "The Magic Makers"
